1) Pay attention in class
If you want to understand the material, you need to be paying attention in class. The information they share will help you do the homework. 2) Do your homework
Your grades are heavily impacted by the scores you get on your homework assignments. After getting home from school, try to immediately get started on your homework assignments. Otherwise, it will burden you for the rest of the night. You don’t want to be working on homework late at night especially with school in the morning.
3) Don’t procrastinate
I know that this is easier said than done but procrastinating on big projects or even on small assignments can cause you heaps of stress later on. You don’t have to get the whole assignment done but doing a tiny portion of the work is better than doing nothing. If you work well under pressure, I still suggest you don’t wait until the last minute. Teachers can somehow always tell if you put in the time or not. It is also better not to put so much stress on yourself.

Teachers give out plenty of resources to help you succeed. You just need to use them wisely. For example, if you are give a syllabus for a chapter, then go through the syllabus and make sure you know everything before a test. Use all the resources that is given to you by the teacher to study. There is a tons of information online. If you don’t have a good teacher at school, go online and learn. Khan Academy is an amazing website and it’s free! There are YouTube videos on everything!
