Plot Structure Review of Carnivorous Carnival (Series of Unfortunate Events)

Characters
Protagonist: Violet, Sunny, and Klaus Baudelaire
Antagonist: Count Olaf
Violet Baudelaire: A girl who loves to invent. She wears a ribbon in her hair while thinking of an invention.
Klaus Baudelaire: A young boy who loves to read and research and he wears glasses.
Sunny Baudelaire: A baby who enjoys biting things with her four sharp teeth.
Setting
The books starts with the Baudelaire orphans locked up in the trunk of Count Olaf’s car who has tried to murder them countless times. They end up going to Caligari Carnival where Count Olaf talks to a woman named Madame Lulu, a fortune teller, who is getting info on the kids and their parents. The parents died in a house fire and left the kids with an enormous fortune. To fit in and watch Count Olaf, the kids dress up as carnival freaks. Violet and klaus dress up as two headed freaks and sunny disguises herself as a half wolf baby.
Conflict
The conflict in this story is between the three children and Count Olaf. The children are always trying to get away from Olaf but he follows them everywhere trying to steal their fortune. No one helps because olaf is never caught doing his bad acts so the siblings have to protect and look out for each other.
Climax
Caligari carnival is not very popular so Count olaf thinks of a new carnival attraction. The attraction is that one of the circus freaks will get thrown into the pit of lions. The day arrives and Count olaf chooses a name from the hat with all the freak’s names. Count Olaf chooses Violet and Klaus and as they stand over the plank, one of Count Olaf’s henchmen tries to push them in but falls in himself while dragging Madame Lulu with him and they both get devoured by hungry lions.
Resolution
After Madame Lulu dies, Count Olaf burns down the carnival and destroys the evidence of them being there. They leave for the Mortmain mountains to find out if one of the Baudelaire parents are still alive. Count Olaf and his henchmen plus sunny are in the car while Violet and Klaus in a caravan tied to the car.
